From Our Chipper to Your Yard
Every tree job we do produces chips. Instead of dumping them, we sell them locally to homeowners and landscapers who need fresh mulch. The chips are clean, fresh, and come from a mix of hardwoods and softwoods depending on what we've been cutting that week.
What You Get
- Fresh-chipped wood — usually within a few days of the tree coming down
- Mixed species — oak, elm, hackberry, cottonwood, ash, others as available
- No dyes, no chemicals, no fillers
- Delivered by truckload or available for pickup
What People Use the Chips For
- Landscape mulch around trees, shrubs, and flower beds
- Garden paths and natural walkways
- Weed suppression in side yards and easements
- Playground groundcover
- Animal bedding and pasture footing
- Compost feedstock for the brown layer
Fresh Chips vs. Aged Mulch
Fresh chips are great as a top dress, but if you're putting them straight into a planting bed where you want to grow vegetables or new plants this season, give them a few months to break down first — or use them as a path/walkway material instead. Once they're a year old they're perfect for any garden use.
Pricing & Delivery
Pricing depends on truckload size and delivery distance. For Salina addresses, delivery is usually under $100 on top of the chip cost. Rural addresses in Saline County we'll quote based on the drive. Call or message us — if we've got a load ready we can often deliver same week.
