That Stump Has to Go
Tree's gone but the stump is still there — tripping the mower, sprouting suckers, taking up space, just being an eyesore. We grind it out so you can move on with the yard.
How Our Stump Grinding Works
- We bring a self-propelled stump grinder right up to the stump
- Grind 6 to 12 inches below grade (deeper than most operators)
- Pulverize the wood into mulch-grade chips
- Chips can be left on-site for fill or hauled away — your call
- Topsoil it back if you're re-sodding (additional service)
Why Grind a Stump Instead of Just Cutting It Flush?
A flush-cut stump still sticks up, still rots above ground for years, and still kills the grass around it. Grinding takes the stump below the soil line, which means:
- You can re-sod or re-seed straight over it
- The mower clears it forever — no more dinged blades
- No more sprouts coming back from the roots
- No more termite magnet in your yard
- The spot becomes invisible within a season
What Does Stump Grinding Cost in Salina?
Single stumps typically run $80 to $300 depending on diameter and accessibility. Multiple stumps in one visit get a discount. Big stumps over 30 inches across are quoted individually. We always quote on-site or from a clear photo — no surprises.
Already Took the Tree Down Yourself?
No problem. We do stump-only jobs all the time. Even if another company cut the tree, we'll come grind out what's left.
